## What it does

- Real-time conditions, updated as the weather changes
- 14-day forecast with daily highs and lows
- UV index: know when to bring sunscreen, a hat or sunglasses
- Wind direction and speed: headwind, tailwind, or a still afternoon
- Humidity: how heavy the air will feel
- Feels-like temperature: what the weather feels like on your skin
- Home screen widgets: read current conditions plus the forecast you care about without
  opening the app
- City search and saved cities: location access is optional

## What it does not do

- No severe weather alerts or push warnings
- No radar or precipitation map
- No air quality index
- No hourly forecast breakdown
- No iOS or iPadOS version
- No sign-up or login; an anonymous account is created automatically to hold points and progress
- No cross-device sync unless you choose to link a Google account
- No paid tier or in-app purchase

## Permissions and privacy

- Location (`ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION`, `ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION`): used only to show weather for
  where you are, requested in the foreground. Denying it still leaves the app fully usable
  through city search.
- Internet and network state.
- The app does not request contacts, photos, SMS or background location.
